I’ve been working on this off and on since late last year but the idea of this video didn’t truly take form until the man who raised me with my mother passed away. The themes and concepts in this video come from a very personal place within me based on something i love, something I’ve experienced, something i hope to be or a reflection of society. I’m very critical of anything i make and i always try to humble myself but i will say that i worked my ass off editing this. Night & Day, Day & Night and while 9mins might not seem like much and while me making a video comprised of anime footage and such may be seen as unoriginal or irreverent its still art. That’s what editors do, They take pre existing things and craft a new form of art. Its the same as drawing and taking inspiration from another artist or making a movie and making it a throwback to the 80s or taking a photo of a beautiful landmark and or person. The beauty of art stems from pre existing things

“Good artists copy, great artists steal.” - Pablo Picasso

Do you love creating something as a means of self expression or to convey abstract thought? Then you’re an artist and no matter how that may look to the world never forget who you are. I don’t care if its a poem, an amv, a drawing on paper or on Microsoft paint, a sculpture made out of playdough, a house made from Popsicle sticks or a board game made from wrapping paper… If you create and you love doing it then you’re an artist. Art is crucial to our society and our species, it unifies us regardless of race, gender & background. It shows us past present and future, it shows us what we’ve accomplished, what we could accomplish and what we will accomplish. Art eases depression, it stimulates our minds and it teaches us so much.. We should never take it for granted.

This video is many things but one of the main things is it shows how art can take us somewhere special, how it can tell so many different stories and convey so much symbolism to the point where at times we forget that it is fi certainly won’t appeal to a lot of people but i would ask if you could remain respectful and courteous during and after the viewing whether you like it or not. If you have any questions pertaining to the symbolism in the video feel free to ask. Thank you all so much for tuning in and being patient.

With all of that said i hope you all enjoy

You are everything I’ve never had. I never got to physically see you. I never got to feel you. I’ve never heard your laugh or seen your smile through anything but speakers and screens. We’ve never had the chance to be together but I miss you…those are the pains of falling in love with someone you met online.

I created a secondary disclaimer for This Is Anime. I’m not sure if I’m going to use it though. Thoughts?

I’m glad I’m taking time with this amv. I want it to turn heads.

In Honor Of Captain America: Civil War I Give You 40 Seconds Of Mcu Hype! ITS TIME FOR CIVIL WAR!

I finished the thumbnail for my AMV! I’m so excited to show everyone this! If you have any questions about it i’d be more than happy to answer them!

For the past three weeks i’ve been working on a new type of amv and its been consuming all if not most of my time. What’s different about this amv is that like my Dbz Tribute Extend Amv’s is it breaks the mold of your standard amvs. My new tribute is called | This Is Anime A Visual Symphony Of Transcendency|. The theme of this amv is about suffering and how that can change a person giving them more awareness to become something heroic or the opposite. I had worked on it a bit in the past been but ended up scrapping it, then came my dad’s death two months ago and after that i resurrected the project with a new burning passion to complete it and the more time passed the more pain & suffering i saw in the world which only fueled my desire to make this video even more. As far as Amv’s are concerned this one is like nothing you’ve ever seen before. Its stylized/symphonic brutal path to heroism with strong themes of empowerment, abuse, grief, equality, justice and depression.

This Amv is very intense and i’ve done what i can to warn people ahead of time for its brutal content and when i say brutal i mean for an amv, i wouldn’t want anyone clicking this amv only to have it trigger a past trauma. The video is split up into 4 acts and the first 2 show abuse and violence from the perspective of both men and women. I’m very excited to show everyone this video and hopefully the symbolism won’t be lost on anyone to the point where they think I’m promoting violence toward women or suffering toward men because I’m not. This video is a reflection of todays society and how we channel grief and pain internally and externally and its essentially the tragic path toward heroism.

I Finished The Banner For My Brutally Hyper Stylized Symphonic Amv.
